The Great British Bird box is a good-sized box with a 32mm hole allowing for various species such as Blue, Coal, Great and Marsh Tits. Tree Sparrows, House Sparrows, and Pied Fly Catchers can use this box too, so it will be helpful to all town and city birds looking for a place to nest or roost overnight. The box comes with fixing screws for fences or walls, however wire for tree fixing and hole protection plates to protect from squirrel or woodpeckers can be purchased in addition. The roof lid is opened by two swivel clips, so access is very easy for humans, although difficult for squirrels to gain access!
