Habitats Are Under Threat

In Kent and across the UK, the countryside is under threat of being converted to housing estates, our boxes allow the new towns to have their own nesting population within the new buildings, even though the natural habitat has gone. It is really important to recognise nature requires a space to thrive and more so this is within our new towns.

Between 2001 & 2021, the UK lost 105,000 hectares of tree cover. That’s an area of land about three times the size of The Isle of Wight.

Planting Trees

For every bird box sold, I'm committed to planting two trees through my collaboration with Carma. This initiative not only supports reforestation as a means to combat climate change but also ensures that these efforts are transparent, accountable, and deeply connected to local communities worldwide. By planting trees, we're not just offsetting carbon emissions; we're actively creating new habitats for birds and wildlife.
