Front Opening Bird Box 32mm
These bird boxes are perfect for smaller garden birds. The hole allows for Blue, Coal, Great and Marsh Tits, House Sparrows, Nut Hatch and Pied Flycatchers, so it will be helpful to all country, town and city birds looking for a place to nest.
The timber is left natural rough sawn to enable the fledglings to climb out when they are ready to leave the box.
An alternative design to The Great British Birdbox - this one has a lift up front to allow for easy cleaning at the end of the nesting season.
All the timber I use is 19mm thick European redwood Pine and is sourced from a U.K company with a superb sustainability policy. The timber is left natural rough sawn to enable the fledglings to climb out when they are ready to leave the box. The boxes are made from a very durable and robust thickness of timber that is chunky and strong. It will be resilient to all weathers and has proved to be a lovely home for many breeding birds and even a resting space overnight for individual birds.
